Trains of Thought is a year-end creative project reflecting on 2025 through 12 abstract trains of thought, captured in visual video postcards.
What began as a personal archive—pairing abstract video clips with poignant quotes to document the year—evolved into a deeper exploration of stream of consciousness. It examines the boundary between the human subconscious and machine intellect: Could AI one day possess its own stream of consciousness? What does mind and awareness mean to a machine?
Through video postcards and an accompanying expressive typography and a series of graphic posters, the project conversed with AI to define its consciousness and visually interprets these "streams of thought," directly questioning AI on awareness and contrasting machine logic against our own fluid human mind.
